My first challenge was figuring out how a card cut to fit, the face of the watch. With the edge of the face, you can’t lay it on the paper and trace elements. So what I've done, use tracing paper and a pencil to take a rubbing of the face. It has worked out great!
was My second challenge of figuring out how to print a card, they cover the face of the clock (a piece of paper’t large enough). So I have to find a card I liked, and enlarged it in Power Point on two sheets of paper.
Then I printed the two plates, combined them, and used a ruler and a craft knife to cut the leaves. You watch the leaves carefully, if you want to be exact. Then, stick the two pieces together in the back.
Band of the watch face, tracing the bottom of the front of the card with a stencil tape. Cut out the clock face with a pair of scissors and set it aside.
paint-the-clock base with butter cream. You need to don’t really, on the entire face – only the edge and the sides. Let dry.
Use it to RUB your candle wax on different parts of the clock face, where you want, to worry. The edges are a great place for that. Or really just any random area. It’s hard stressful is wrong.
as soon As you rubbed the candle everywhere, color Coastal Blue on the top and let it dry.
is Once the Coastal Blue is dry, use the sandpaper to remove paint in random areas. Sand a bit more for more stressful, and a little bit less . . . for less.
Once you grind finished, add Mod smorgasbord on the front of the face of the watch and smooth out the map. Let it dry for 15 – 20 minutes and then put a top coat over the whole watch. Let them dry and add another layer.
I hope you like my antique map clock. What would you do with a map? Let me know in the commentsknow!br>
