starfish-template

step 1 – Trace out starfish Silhouette
I started by cutting out my starfish template with my Silhouette Cameo. Then I have a large foam Mat and track all my starfish with a black marker.

step 2 – Cut out starfish
next, I have a foam cutter and cut out all 12 of my starfish! It was super easy. Then I grabbed some light sand paper and rounded edges. How cool is this starfish is ?!?!

step 3 – Add your Sand
So, of course, I had to make it look more like a “real” starfish! What to use better materials, and then Mod collection and sand for this project.
I painted on my Mod-hodgepodge in places, and sprinkled my sand over the top. If you decide to have the holes then with a thinner brush, it makes it a little easier to get your Mod smorgasbord inside. the Let dry for 25 minutes.

step 4 – seal your starfish
Now you’and s a seal, a starfish, so that the sand won’t fall all over the place!! I went up only slightly, about the starfish with the sealer. Once it dried, the sand was’t everywhere. My children made, to test sure!

touch
I have several, during the test. I used a light sand on one side, and thought turned out pretty cool. But the darker sand was my favorite.

As you can see this starfish craft is pretty easy to make, once you get into the round all of your materials. I think that a really great cut sitting out would look pretty on a coat, as well. Now, the winter is over, I’m so ready to get started on a more beach-y crafts for the house!
