Star Wars craft: IKEA-Tool-Box Makeover

Use your favorite rebel-themed scrapbook papers in this fun Star Wars crafts!!! Makeover an inexpensive IKEA-tool-box with a Mod-hodgepodge. It’s really easy!

While on a trip to IKEA I came across this wooden Tool Box for only 9.99$, I had to grab it up! I was in the planning there is a beachy makeover, but when I called it my 7-year-old dibs on you.
Since it’t was to expensive, I thought I could just take another. I’ve had some leftover Star Wars scrapbook paper that I’ve been with want to do something. Plus I’m switching my son’s room to a more Star-Wars-theme. So it will be a nice addition to the room!
Easy wooden Box Makeover
For these Star Wars crafts, you’re going:
Supplies

furniture Matt Mod hotchpotch
Unfinished wooden tool box (or similar)
Star Wars scrapbook paper


step 1 – Cut Scrapbook paper to Fit
The piece of scrapbook paper wasn't long enough, I folded them I put the paper over the tool-box to my perfect size. I cut along the edge, then lined it with the rest of the scrapbook paper. I wanted it to look seamless.

step 2 – Mod hodgepodge of paper To the Bottom
Now it’s time to my Mod collection!! I painted something, then my scrapbook paper on top. I made sure to flatten it down with my fingers as I blow the stop to add it to help.
I still had the extra part to add at the end, so about half way through I the extra piece and it fit perfectly.

step 3 – the seal paper Down and
I added then some of the Mod-pick-and-mix to seal it up. I have a total of 2 layers and leave each layer to dry for 20 minutes.
a little on the bottom right, I’t able to match. So I grabbed a piece of scrapbook paper, and cut some and added it to cover the spot until the area exposed.
The extra sheet of scrapbook paper also had some Star Wars text, so I decided to add that to the sides with a little Mod-smorgasbord.

Finally, I have some pots I have pencils from IKEA for his colorful. He was so excited and couldn’t wait to get started coloring.
The IKEA-tool-box turned out so cool, I have the good on the one hand, and the storm troopers on the other! I would like to be able to find, the more pieces of scrapbook paper like this.
Actually, I had this paper left over from some wall art I have my son’s bedroom. I hope you enjoyed this Star Wars crafts!!!
