I’ve got a little secret for you, when it comes to these pumpkins – you are foam. Yes . . . I know, to believe it’s hard, because you look as if you took them that you’d be something significant. If, in fact, they are very light.
I have two secrets for you, that I use, make these pumpkin decorations, which is less clever, and more worthy of Department store shelves (or, at least, as I bought them at target in the season or so!!!). Here they are:
the Use of muted tones. I find that the bright colors that these types of pumpkins are cool, but if you’re looking for sophisticated, go with muted tones that aren’t be saturated very. Grey, mint, coral, lavender, rose pink, midnight blue, and similar colors are all perfect for these pumpkins.
Use you to paint it a matte surface. Shiny the Candyland effect is here. Stick with a chalk-finish, as I mentioned before, in the supplies, and to get you’re going to the beautiful appearance you desire. Trust me on this one!
the application of The diamond dust
you’ll find Mod hodgepodge Matt in the supplied photo, but I ended up with Mod hodgepodge gloss only in the areas where I applied Diamond Dust. I said, Mat surface was at best, so where should you paint, stay matte. But where in the case of application of the diamond dust Mod hodgepodge gloss should use it, and keeps it from the dumbing down of the dust.

All you have to do what you’re for this step is to add Mod-smorgasbord in the areas that you want to add diamond dust. I worked about 1/4 of the foam pumpkin at a time. You’ll paint the bottom sections of the pumpkin and then move to step 3.
you’ll have to work somewhat quickly, because the Mod-mess and dries quickly. To paint you don’t want to, the Mod smorgasbord of over the top.

I love this stuff. I would like to add that it is everything. I have my “handy dandy” Mod-hodgepodge, to add it to my pumpkins. I have a total of three pumpkins and they dried quite quickly.
As I have already mentioned, I had shiny Matte Mod collection in my supplies photo, but I ended up changing in luster-Mod-smorgasbord, the diamond-dust the area a little more.
Now, I’m finished, I’m willing to add these pumpkin decorations to my autumn coat. I think that the small coral-colored turned out to be a pretty cool, and will look great with the mint.
