In this cute winter craft, you’ll use Mod to decorate hodgepodge and dollar store supplies, snowflake votives. So easy and inexpensive! The is Busy Heidi from the blog hands. I love to spend high-impact-craft, without 100 hours of work to do so. Laser-cut scrapbooking paper is a good supply, I like to use to save some time and sanity in my crafting, and I craft this winter.came Because the paper I used is a snowflake design, it's white, but I decided it was present in need of a bit of color to, is beauty. You can read how I made these pretty winter-craft together in about an hour.snowflake crafts: Simple VotivesCollect These Supplies1 sheet of scrapbook paperMod hodgepodge Matt food coloring water small bowlpaint brush sponge brushwaxed paper glass jar candles (like these) you’ll start your snowflake votives from the preparation of the laser-cutting paper. Put it on some wax paper. You can mix a few drops of food coloring and a little water and paint it on the paper to color. After the paper is dried, cut the sheet in half. Wrap the paper around one of the candles to see how long your wrap needs to be.There is enough paper should that there is only a little overlap when held tightly around the candle. My wraps were 6″ high and 7.5″ wide. Paint a generous layer of Mod smorgasbord on the candle glass. Gluing/wrap your paper tightly around the candle. Where there’s paper, overlap, add a bit of Mod-pick-and-mix to make it stick. While the Mod-smorgasbord is still wet, you can <; slide the paper into place if it needs adjustment to fit tight on the candle as soon As the wrap is all in place, paint a thick layer of decoupage on the top of the pack. Since the paper, the save I used was a thicker cardstock, it took a good amount of Mod smorgasbord to. Let dry completely before you use it. I have my two coils, snowflake votives a nice centerpiece to fill the void, the in adorable home decor left by the end of the holiday season. I have a decorative cake plate, some batting, and plastic chained beads to accessorize my centerpiece. Easy!
