I swear that everyone heard in my neighborhood to Amazon Prime, there’s a van every day goodies deliver!Amazon Prime is probably my favorite membership of all time, and this year I was inspired to do this, a costume with one of their boxes . . . also known as “boxtume!” If you haven’t heard a boxtume, you’re in for a real treat. This was my chance, develop a creative costume with an Amazon Smile box as well as some other crafting supplies. Here’s how the costume was made!mermaid costume dogCollect These SuppliesAmazon Smile-box in a size that fits your dogFelt sheets – you can like your mermaid any color your; I chose the blues! Get enough leaves to cover the box (for a small dog, I used 8 sheets)self-Adhesive glitter foam – 1 sheet for the tailHot glue gun and glue sticksMod hodgepodge Mega Glitter or Extreme GlitterScissorsX-Acto knifePen The first step is to fold your box in your Form and to estimate, where you want to go the hole for your pet’s head. Draw the shape with your pen. you can Use an X-Acto knife and/or scissors to cut the hole. Try it quickly on your pet’s head and make adjustments as necessary. Depending on how big your pet is, you may need to cut a length out of the box. We cut about 2 cm from the bottom of the box, and also removed the flaps with an X-Acto knife. Band of the box to seal it closed. The Band we used lists of all the great benefits of Amazon Prime. We use the video-streaming every single day! Around this time of year, we’re binge watching Halloween movies, of course. From one of the flaps that you removed from the box, you will create a mermaid’s scale. Our room was about 3 inches across the top and then 2 1/2 inches long. You can scale to any size you like, but greater is the costume makes it come together faster. Use the template you just created to cut your scales out of felt! You’ll want to use different colors of felt to the “mermaid look.” that said, We have been shades of blue, but mermaids can have any color, or so I’ve used. you Use to apply your hot glue gun on to the scales on the box, starting at the bottom. Work your way all around the box, application of scales. If you’ve finished a row, you may need to trim the last scale with scissors. Then layer the next row. You can use the same color or a different color. Keep going and layers as needed, with your hot glue gun. Work all the way around the frame, until you arrive to the top. If you go to the top of the mermaid boxtume, you’re to work of the head-hole down in the direction of the tail. your boxtume is almost complete, but it needs a little something extra! A real mermaid would have it no other way. You should add a bit of Mod-hodgepodge Mega Glitter or Extreme Glitter at the end of each scale with a brush. This is how your finished Mod Podged boxtume will look like. Don't worry, the Mod-hodgepodge will dry clear, leaving the pretty glitter behind. While your boxtume dries, use your sheet of self-adhesive glitter to create the foam of the tail. Draw a tail on the back of the foam. You can afford to mess up, because nobody is going to see the back side of the sheet . . . you Give your cock, pull back some of the scales on the back and cut a slot with your X-Acto knife. Insert the tail and then the paper removed, a little you put the glue on the sheet. Secure fold over the part and stick it on the boxtume. All you need to do now is stick your pet in the boxtume! You can make adjustments to the boxtume so that you can run your dog, such as a part cut in the back leg motion (if you need it), or attach a piece of tape to secure it. I Can recommend to complete a blue dog wig dog a mermaid costume? I think that my piggie looks super cute! This dog boxtume is SO easy to make.
