I liked the Halloween decor, the’s funny and cute, not scary. I found this plain black doilies in Michaels, and knew that if I added glitter and simple decorations, I’d have an adorable DIY bunting, perfect for this time of the year. Read the how-to on how to this simple doily bunting!

A Doily Bunting

Black doilies (you can use any color you like!)
Glitter (I used gold, white and orange)
Baker’s Twine
ornaments (found at Michaels)
Mod hodgepodge Matt

step 1: I have 6 doily for this garland (although you can make your, more, if you’d like). With your spouncer, add Mod smorgasbord on a section of your doily.
I used painters tape for the first, but had a hard time to remove it without ripping the doily. I have the rest without the tape and it worked fine. I glittered 3 of my doily: one orange, one white, and gold.
step 2: Once the doilies are dry, add a simple embellishment in the center of each. You take a length of baker’s twine and the wind through each doily . . .
And that’s all it takes!
step 3: hanging of a coat, the empty frame, or any where else you’T like a touch of doily bunting awesomeness . . .
I really love how easy this was and how cute it turned out. I also love how easy it would be to create one of these for any theme or color scheme imaginable – you can easily find all these supplies in literally all colors of the rainbow!
