How to Decorate a wood crate

Use to decorate Mod hodgepodge stencils, and sand, wooden crate – to save is ideal for holding books, craft supplies or anything you need to.
As I pack to move, I realize how much I love my books. I’m old school when it comes to you. However, I own a Kindle, I’d much rather feel the paper in my hands. I wonder if anyone else feels like that?
Anyhoo, I have to decorate my new Mod hodgepodge of templates to the end of this book box . . . and this time, I have sand with you! I love the way sand looks in a cool pattern. This is a very simple project, and would be useful for all sorts of things.

Collect These Supplies

Small wooden box
Mod conglomeration of rocks! Peel & Stick stencils – Tanger
Mod hodgepodge gloss
Mod hodgepodge spouncers
FolkArt paint – parchment
a Small wood scrabble letters, the spelling in the spell of your choice
Scrapbook-paper – a piece of
Orange sand
paper cutter or craft knife and mat

Paint your box with the color. Give your box several layers and allow to dry. Don't forget the inside and bottom of the box as well.
I get a lot of asked to paint if you like, behind which the paper is decoupaged to the bottom. As long as the paper is thick enough, the answer is no.
measure the wooden slats on the side of your box with a ruler. To cut using the paper cutter the scrapbook paper to fit the slats. Alternatively, you can use to measure a pencil with a ruler and then cutting the paper with scissors.
Work to add a time, you will have to Mod smorgasbord on the wood slats. Paint a medium layer of Mod hodgepodge over the entire plate and smooth your scrapbook paper to the bottom. Repeat. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes.
Apply a top coat over each wood slat and let dry.

you Peel the stencil and pour the sand on the right. Tip: pour the sand on top of the box on a piece of paper, so that you can pour the excess back into the original container.
Let your design to dry and repeat with the stencil again. Do you cover this three times on each side (possibly more, depending on the size of the box).
Once your design is ready, on both sides of the crate, allow it to dry completely. Then you can sweep the excess sand with a brush. Tip: if you click on some areas of your design, you can use a small paint brush with Mod smorgasbord and sprinkle sand in these areas. Let them dry and brush again.
