These simple plates would be for any kind of party, really – and they are so easy to make! One of the best parts of this project is that you save the old records at the thrift, AND you probably already have paper in your stash . . . to make this project virtually free. Here’s how you do it. you’ll need to:Vintage recordsFun cardstock paperMod hodgepodge GlossScissorsPencilTea lights Take a piece of cardboard paper and a round tupperware lid. The lid has a medium size. Trace the edge of the paper and then cut it out. Place the cardboard circle on top of the head on the upper side of the plate. Use the side of the pencil to RUB the edge of the inner circle of the data set. Cut this part. brush the Mod smorgasbord on the cut, rotate and paste it on the data set. The inner circle should line up with the edge of the record's inner circle . . . basically, the title on the display. Allow to dry completely before a candle in the middle. These candle plates are the perfect size! Now you have some retro-vintage-centerpieces!!Visit my online shop filled with handmade Goodies! Also connect with me on Twitter and Instagram.
