Easy Tissue Paper Heart Vase

The tissue-paper-heart-vase is a fun Mod smorgasbord project, that’s simple, the involvement of children in. They make one for your own home, and several as gifts!


After the holiday decorations down I come, always feel the need to simplify my setup a little and let my home take a nice long exhale. That doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t decorate for Valentine’s day, it means that my heart day is setup a simple, low-key and less fussy.
The tissue-paper-heart-vase is a fun Mod smorgasbord project, that’s easy to involve the children. They make one for your own home, and several as gifts!
DIY heart-Vase
materials:

Mod hodgepodge of Glitter and Mod hodgepodge Matt
Different squares of Tissue paper
parchment paper
heart-template
glass Vase or glass
foam brush
- scissors

step 1: Cut your tissue paper into squares. Apply a layer of Mod hodgepodge of Glitter on parchment paper, and place the squares of tissue paper, overlapping slightly.
If the layering of the squares that you need’ll probably be a bit more Mod-hodgepodge, in order to ensure that the squares will not stick well.
This is such a fun for kids, it’s impossible to do it wrong. After drying, apply a further thin layer of Mod conglomeration of the entire project. Let dry.
step 2:Once it is completely dry, take out your heart template (I cut just one from cardstock) and trace elements, the a heart over your tissue paper. Cut.
step 3: Carefully parchment paper coating to peel off.
you can decorate with your heart, and the string to create some twine, a wreath, or hang out of their Windows to create fun sun catcher!
step 4: I decided to create a fun vase out of my heart. I took a vintage glass bottle, used some Mod-hodgepodge Matt, and kept the heart in the middle of the bottle.
step 5: after drying, add some flowers or green, and you’ve got a nice and simple Valentine’s day heart vase!
