A Charming Sandcastle for a Beach Party

Learn how to make a sand castle out of cardboard boxes! This is a great tutorial for a party or somewhere next to the beach you have a castle.
I’m not a person to heat (hot weather), but I love sand castles. I think it’s, because I as a child on the cold beaches of Washington State. It’s something fun about the construction of a Sandcastle, and it's all day affair that I completely absorbed.
Speaking of sand and castles, the beautiful ladies of One Charming Party sent me this magnificent sand castles to share activities with you. I think it would be beautiful as a centerpiece for a summer birthday; it’s actually part of a larger mermaid-Party-plan, you can (and then buy supplies for the) here.
So here are the instructions for the Sandcastle. You're going to love what the structure is. It’s recycled!

How to provide a Sand castle Out of cardboard boxes
: a variety of boxes in various sizes, berry baskets and/or cardboard, egg cartons, masking tape, Mod hodgepodge Matt, 2-inch brush, dry, sand, spit, acrylic paint, flags (in the printables section), hot glue gun, sea glass, Shells
instructions:

tape the boxes together with tape to form the shape of a sandcastle shape. Berry baskets and egg cartons, use them to add some variety.If you paint it a dark font on their boxes, the boxes are a sandy color with acrylic.
you Paint the boxes with Mod-hodgepodge, in small sections at a time. Press a handful of dry sand on the wet glue.
Repeat until the whole castle is covered with sand.
Cut out the flags from the printables section and glue or tape to a painted skewer and poke in the sand castle.
Once the glue and the sand is dry and hardened, hot glue the sea glass and shells on the castle.
Sprinkle the entire castle generously with extra sand

*note: make sure the sand is completely dry and only use tape—wet sand does not stick to the glue and adhesive will not stick very well to clear tape.
