painted Wooden spoon
For this project, you’re going to:
Dishwasher-safe Mod hotchpotch
Gold Spray paint
I lifted First steps
While I was at the craft store, some paint colors. I really wanted to go BRIGHT with these spoons. I’m in the process of painting my kitchen white (including my cabinets), and I want to “APPEARS” of color it is.
I gathered my supplies to start!!!
step 1 – belt, wooden spoon
First of all, I mean “ moved;Loyal” Washi Tape and duct tape on the underside of the spoon. I wanted to go all the way to the bottom of the handle.
step 2 – color of cooking spoon
Next, it’s time to take our bright colors! I added two layers on each of the spoons, allowing each layer to dry 30 minutes.
really love these colors, I think it is very spring-y/summer-y!
step 3 – Spray Paint spoons
First, when I started this project, I’t want to, paint them. I had a couple of “testers”, before I started this project. I added glitter to the top, and I of course had to try it coast by stenciling an anchor on it (if you follow me then you know I’m obsessed with all things coastal).
Finally, I tested the gold spray paint and really liked how it turned out.
once again, I took it off and added a layer of spray paint on both sides. I leave the paint to dry out for an hour. Don’t you think they look so pretty?!
step 4 – Add Mod-hodgepodge
Now to the most important part…this spoon looks great and is safe for washing. The Dishwasher Mod Conglomeration!
I read the instructions and paint it says, on 2 -3 coats , then let it dry for an hour. Finally (and the most important part), let cure for 28 days.
All I have to do now is to wait, to heal the 28 days for this, then I can get started with my new fancy spoon!! I can wait’t!
This wooden spoon makeover would also be a great gift for someone. Personalize them with your favorite colors.
As always, I really enjoyed working on this project. It’s so exciting, coming up with craft projects for the house. I really enjoy my crafting time, and the best part (I tell all you amazing Mod smorgasbord of rock trailer on it)!! I hope you enjoyed the tutorial, until next time . . .
