I thought this was a good craft idea for those of you bringing the gifties on the people’s homes for the holidays – as hostess gifts or treats for the family members who host you.

Mod hodgepodge gloss

Mod hodgepodge acrylic shapes – basics
Mod hodgepodge Dimensional Magic (optional)
FolkArt acrylic paint – Forest Moss, autumn leaves, Pure Gold
fabric in the colors of your choice – I have blue and green
Scrapbook-paper – case-colors and patterns
ribbons of your choice – I used the lace and measuring tape have to print
you Do this, so if you cut out the fabric, it doesn’t fray. Make sure you have enough material, the lenses to cover. Once the fabric is dry, cut into several small squares.
Begin to cover the jars by adding a medium layer of Mod hodgepodge on the page, place a piece of fabric down and Mod Podging over the top. More and more material in the same way, overlapping as you go.
If you are on the edges, cut darts in the squares so that they overlap the fabric around the round part. When you are finished, cover the jars with fabric, can give them a final coat and allow to dry.
Select the acrylic shapes that you want to use on each glass (you can see in the main photo, what I needed, a circle and a rectangle). Keep track of the shapes in scrapbook paper and then cut out.
Mod-smorgasbord, the paper on the back of the acrylic shapes and let dry. Optional step: add Dimensional magic to the front of the acrylic shapes for a glossy look and let it dry.

Paint your ornaments with acrylic paint – I have Pure Gold to the owl and autumn leaves/Forest Moss on the flower shape. Let dry.
Glue your embellishments on the front of the acrylic shapes-adhesive tape to the glasses. Glue on your embellishments or ribbon around the lip with baker's twine, as shown. Your mason jar crafts for fall is almost complete.
Let your jars dry, then fill with candy or other treats for a gift. If you would like to decorate a cake-in-a-jar and baked, so make sure that you have the mason jar lid on when the Mod Podging, so that nothing more on your food. Also, Mod hodgepodge than normal. Enjoy!
