Easy DIY dress Form, Covered with fabric Mod conglomeration of rocks
This DIY-dress-form project is a unique home decor piece! Use fabric and Mod hodgepodge to cover a dress form – customize as you want.
So I chose some crazy fabric and a great color, and for you went. What do I do with this beautiful lady? I’m not sure . . . still . . . so, if you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments! Here
Gather These Supplies
Mod smorgasbord of Satin
material in the pattern of your choice
painter’s tape and paper/paper-towels
Then use your scissors to cut the fabric into MANY parts. Yep, I cut a lot of pieces. But it’s not bad, if you started once. Only will you see an episode of Downton Abbey or something.
Once you have your pieces, start in the middle and Mod hodgepodge of every piece of the dress form. Keep overlapping Podging the end pieces and Mod. You may need to get your hands a little “dirty” by the smooth, you are the pieces to the bottom, like wet. But it’s kind of fun.
I bet you're wondering what you can do, as you get closer to the top. Well, I cut darts in the pieces! I just cut off the piece and then overlapped in this area. I used Mod smorgasbord and smoothed with the fingers.
you can see in the photo above, I cut the pieces to the shoulders and separated them to make them work. I supply the pieces directly to the neck of my little friend and then trimmed. Let it dry and give it a top coat.
