DIY Valentine fashion: Glittered Candy heart T-Shirts

I Love Candy Hearts! Justine has a great tutorial for the placing on the fronts of the children’ T-Shirts with this DIY Valentine craft project – it’s very easy!

Hello Mod conglomeration of rocks readers! Justine, the blog here from sew Country Chick, and today I have a fun Mod Podged DIY Valentine candy heart t - shirt tutorial is for you!
These are simple, simple T-shirts, which I jazzed up with some Mod-hodgepodge substance formula mixed with glitter.

I have the candy to cut a heart design from Silhouette Studio and my electronic cutter, it is low-cost shelf paper. You can also print a similar design from the internet, trace it on the shelf paper, and cut it out with an X-Acto knife, if you don’t, is an electronic cutting machine.
shelves paper is ideally suited as a template, because if you cut your design, you peel the back, stick it on the fabric, and nothing oozes out from under him. Plus, you save on the dollar!
DIY Valentine’s Day Shirts
materials needed for the glittered heart t-shirt-project:

Mod patchwork fabric
Finely ground glitter ( I used Martha Stewart brand)
Simple t-shirts ( I bought in the target)
An electronic cutter OR a sharp X-Acto knife
shelf paper to create your stencil.
A brush

as soon As you need to have a heart design that appeals to you, cut it off the shelf paper either by hand with the X-Acto knife or with your electronic cutter.the same parts, Mod hodgepodge of material with the fine glitter. I used Martha Stewart glitter. There are some really beautiful colors!
Remove the protective foil from the back of the stencil, and press down firmly on the T-shirt. If the letters carefully, to press them to the bottom.
The blue-and-candy-heart-design has been by covering all of the exposed fabric with blue glitter/ Mod hodgepodge combo. I definitely didn't cover up the letters was too much, so I peel them as soon as the glue is dried.

I used a slightly different method to the red heart. I covered the entire surface with the red/Mod hodgepodge combo.
I let it dry, then I put the NEGATIVE of the stencil on the upper side of the dried heart and used the negative space to stencil in some blue/ glitter-Mod-hodgepodge-combo.
I would recommend that you wash the t-shirts on the delicate cycle of the machine and then air dry.
