Hello, all! It’s Linda, from burlap+blue, here with another simple and creative way, with a Mod-hodgepodge! This decoupage, DIY photo canvas is the perfect way to be playful and colorful, a favorite photo to show. You will make for yourself or as a gift!
Here’s how to make a unique photo display with decoupage medium and your own photos!

DIY photo canvas
Material:

Mod hodgepodge gloss
canvas
foam brush
ribbon or twine
Tissue paper
Washi Tape (optional)

step 1: Collect your supplies and cut or tear your tissue paper into squares. I found this colorful pack of tissue paper from the opponent in the last week and use it for everything! Love the bright colors and fun patterns!
step 2: Start Mod Podging your pieces of tissue paper on the canvas. I worked in small sections, applying Mod-hodgepodge, adding the tissue paper, and the transition to a different section.
as soon As a section was dry, I went back and added more Mod smorgasbord and layered more tissue paper. To go it’s really no wrong way to about it, just have fun when creating your colorful canvas!
Almost there! Once dry, add 2 – 3 layers of Mod-hodgepodge, let your canvas completely dry between coats.
step 3: For a little more color and pattern, I have a length of washi tape around the sides of my canvas. If you’d rather, you can use paper instead, also on the pages with Mod smorgasbord and tissue.
step 4: you can stop here if you’d like, and only with tape (or Mod smorgasbord!) a photo to enclose, but I wrapped my canvas with baker’s twine-bound, and it is in the back. I can easily slip pictures in and out, and change them whenever the urge strikes.
And that’s it! Display on a shelf or on the wall, step back and admire your new creation!
thanks for making me share my photo canvas today with all of you! You will find many tutorials and inspiration on my blog, my facebook page, on pinterest or on twitter! You have a nice day!
