DIY-Clip-frame in Four Easy steps
You know how you DIY-clip frame with wooden shapes and clips! Decorate with your favorite papers and Mod-hodgepodge. Such a SIMPLE project.
As I found this simple, wooden shapes at Joann’s the other day, I knew that you’d make the perfect frame for displaying pictures of my children. I used scrapbook paper for mine, but leftover fabric would work as well!

Mod hodgepodge gloss
wooden shapes (I left at Joann’s)
metal clips or clothespins
Decide on your design and cut your scrapbook paper to cover your shape. I opted for a simple design with three coordinating pieces of paper, but you could easily do stripes, squares, or anything you can come up with. To cut Don’t worry about the paper to fit your shape, that’s, where the X-Acto knife will come!
step 1: apply a layer of Mod-pick-and-mix to your Form and keep your pieces. The bottom left of the front panel shows one of my forms that displays on the right side, what looks like the back.
step 2: Take your utility knife and (carefully!) cut out the shapes. If you don’t, a cutter knife, scissors-the work for this step. I don’t have a picture of this step . . . turns out, you really should use both hands when working with a cutter knife. to seal 🙂
step 3: Apply a 2 – 3 layers of Mod-hodgepodge, so that your frame to air dry in between the layers.
step 4: Attach clips or clothespins with hot glue.
And there you have it! A simple and customizable way to view photos of your favorite people . . .
