I’m Heidi from the blog hands Occupied, and I’m very excited to share a DIY Christmas candy cane necklace with you all!!!
For today’s project, I decided to create a tutorial with some Mod-hodgepodge of the products you see don’t necessarily have to, every day, around the crafty blogosphere.
I wanted my project to be something festive now that the holiday season is coming – but I also wanted it to be a project would be to make the’t take 20 hours to do because we’re all insanely busy in December.

Glitter prepping to Start your candy cane accent. I have some awesome satin neck ribbon from the may arts company, which I had on hand. You can also cane your own candy with striped paper.

Clean your Podgeable shape, if necessary. With a sponge brush, paint a layer of gloss Mod smorgasbord on the top of the Form and place your candy cane, as desired.
Paint another layer of Mod hodgepodge of Glitter on your candy cane, being careful not to move. I soaked my candy-cane shape, which was swollen, so more Mod-hodgepodge took me, as if you’re using a paper Form. Let dry.
If you have your candy cane chain is dry, grab your silver Glitter Dimensional magic. A lot of the glitter in my bottle of formula had aon the ground.br I easy the bottle is turned>upside down and right a few times, the glitter throughout the bottle. Don’t shake it! Bubbles are your enemies, if you created the work with DM, and shake you.
Open your Glitter Dimensional magic. Get the flow of the formula by squeezing a few drops on a piece of paper or a glass lid (you can see that I have old mason jar lids for crafts a lot with the image). This helps get rid of the bubbles at the top of the bottle.
Specifically Dimensional Magic to apply and your candy cane necklace, fill in the Podgeable shape to the edges.
The first time I have ever used, Dimensional Magic, I just sprayed a ton of formula in the middle of a Podgeable shape, and it ended up swells and messed up my whole project.
she is reasonable with her Dimensional Magic a long way, in my experience! 🙂
bubbles, Even if you’re to avoid taking a lot of care in order to, in their three-Dimensional magic, it can still happen, as you can see in the image on the left side.
There are a couple of ways to go with bubbles: a sharp needle to pop the bubbles, if the formula is still wet, and a fine brush can be used to “scoop” the bubbles, if you used a steady hand and a lighter to get rid of bubbles, if the Dimensional Magic dried.br>Let your Christmas necklace charm dry for 24 hours. I will always provide a sign to place next to a Dimensional Magic projects, how to keep it dry, my husband accidentally put something on them. I know don’t, what do you do all of the craftsmen with children, in order to your work safer! A lock and key? Feel free to provide tips in the comments.
After 24 hours, your DIY-Christmas-chain is dry and clear. If there are no annoying bubbles to show, over night, think of the lighter trick to get rid of them! String the charm on a piece of embroidery thread, and you’ve got a cute holiday necklace, gift-accent and key charm.
