DIY Bicycle canvas art for your wall
You will learn bike-canvas art for your wall! This is so easy to do, with Mod-smorgasbord – no skills required, and you can customize.
He was a professional in Europe for a while, and races as a master (45+ age) now, so I go to all his races and watch we’re always on the television. I even drive ALL the things, but I haven’t started – which is coming soon (yikes!).
So now we’re just the Pro Tour, and in July the Tour de France . . . so, that motivated me to do some bike art.
It’s a simple project with fun results, and if you love Cycling, this is a smashing look in your home. Fit you want to each color, and scrapbook paper. Here’s how it was made.

Collect These Supplies
oval canvas – 12″
acrylic color to match your paper
Mod smorgasbord of Satin
Mod hodgepodge Dimensional Magic
Bike silhouette – I printed from the internet my canvas
fit to Start by painting the canvas with the color of your choice. You can paint several layers and allow to drylet.br> Band your silhouette image on a piece of scrapbook paper. This is great to use up those leaves, you still have leftover from other projects. You may be wondering how I found my silhouette – it was easy.
I just googled “bike-silhouette” and printed a freebie out of it, which I liked. Make sure that the lines are thick enough so that you won’t have too much trouble cut out the details.

is cut out Once the silhouette, only Mod smorgasbord it up on the screen. Place Mod smorgasbord at the bottom of the canvas, in a mid-level, put the bike silhouette on the top, and then Mod smorgasbord of over the top. Let dry.
Add Dimensional magic to the top, where the Bicycle silhouette for a little extra fun. It’s not a must, but I can highly recommend it.

This Bicycle canvas kind of reminds me of the year in the Tour de France, Team Garmin had a really bold argyle leg warmers. Argyle . . . polka dots . . . in the bright colors . . . I love you all.
Now, I’ve done this art, I think it’s time for me to get on the bike once and for all. I’ll let you know how it goes . . .
