I always get the funny tingles when I share decoupage furniture project that I'm not with you. It makes me so happy! Here’s one of my last – a Mod smorgasbord table. I found dusty to the end of the table-top and took a before picture – boring.
The first photo of what I did to it! I hope you like it. Below are the instructions for my colorful end of the table-makeover. To see I’d love all your furniture-dos, by the way. You know how I love you!
Colorful end of The table tag
This will Collect Supplies

FolkArt acrylic paint – Teal, glazed carrots, Magenta, sky blue
Mod smorgasbord of Hard Coat
Scrapbook paper of your choice – 2 sheets (I used Carolyn Gavin greenhouse papers from K and company)
1" Flat brush
craft glue
serrated edge scissors
pencil
ruler
1 ½ " wood knob

note: Match the colors to your scrapbooking papers, how I did it! Also, if the table starts out really dark and you are painting with light colors, I would suggest base coating with White cabinets to paint the number of layers you have.

With the brush, first coat the top of the table glazed carrots, the sides and the legs of the table Teal, and the bottom shelf Sky Blue. You need multiple layers of colors. Let dry.
While the table is drying, select two pieces of scrapbooking paper and measure the size you need. Cut out the correct shape and size from two different (but coordinated) paper with scalloped scissors. Set aside.
do you Glue the papers down on the table (top and shelf) with Mod-hodgepodge. Let it dry for at least 15 – 20 minutes.
While the paper is drying, paint the knob Magenta. Let it dry and glue it to the front of the table with craft glue. Button allow to dry.

Coat the entire table with at least two layers of Mod-hodgepodge. Let them dry for at least 48 hours before your decoupage furniture.
