Baker's Twine craft: Wrapped Votives

Create a unique votive with your favorite shades of baker’s yarn-and Mod-hodgepodge. Baker’s twine crafts are some of the easiest you’ll never do that . . . no specialist knowledge is required.
I have one of the most satisfying decoupage craft I’ve ever done for you – and probably the easiest. My friends, if you can, wrap twine, then you can project this. Beginning Mod Podgers take note, because this is the perfect way to get started with the magic glue.
dress it works in an old container (glass, but you can probably use a container) by simply wrapping. Here’s still a glass I decorated and then the fun goes a little tutorial. You will love this simple craft!

Collect These Supplies

Baker’s twine from The Twinery
colors: Rainbow votive – Maraschino, Mandarin, marigold, Peapod, Midnight Blue, glass with lid – melon, stone, Caribbean
Mod hodgepodge gloss
glasses – any kind, any style, but I don't recommend to curvy
embellishments of your choice (optional)
craft glue (you need to have if you use embellishments)

Start by attaching one end of the baker’s twine to the surface, you are going to meet with the Mod-hodgepodge. You can stick to the bottom of the 1 – 2″ to begin so that you have enough attached to the bottom of the winding.
to Apply, Mod hodgepodge on the surface of the container and the wind in your baker’s wrap. I pushed him down, so it was cozy. Start a new color on.
I just eyeballed where to start a new color. When I got to the top I cut off the baker’s twine and gave the whole thing a good layer of Mod smorgasbord. It is milky, but dry clear (like the pros in the know).
I felt incredibly motivated to do two – a rainbow and a color palette that I like. As you can see, on the rainbow votive I added a white button with craft glue. You can glue any embellishments you want to the top.
That’s all there is to it! This could be the easiest Mod patchwork tutorial, I’ve ever done. Enjoy.
